Persons were asked to buy a ticket to participate in the raffle to win five prizes. The funds from the purchased tickets will be used to help in the functioning and maintenance of the infirmary as well as taking care of its residence.
The prizes were: a day pass at the Atlantic view(5th place), a day pass for two with lunch at Jungle Bay (4th place ), a night for two at Rosalie Bay (3rd place), a lunch for two at Cabrit Resort and spa Kempinski (2nd place) and a grand prize of a 43-inch smart tv (1st place).
The winners were as follows: In 5th place was Twane Paul of Coulibistre, 4th place was Joyce Riley from Louisville, 3rd was Paul Laville from St. Aroma Goodwill, 2nd was Gweneth Lazzare from Grand Fond and 1st place was Jeff Charles from Kingshill.
The sponsors were First Caribbean Bank International, Saint Marys Co-operative Credit Union, Jays Limited, Dominica Lotteries Commission. Cabrits Resort and Spa Kempinski, Rosalie Bay Resort, Jungle Bay Hotel and Atlantic View.The Dominica Infirmary thanked the sponsors and hopes this will become an annual event.
