The Dominica Chess Federation offers our Congratulations to our top Female Player Ms. Shawnalee Gordon on being titled the Valedictorian of the Dominica State College class of 2022.

Ms. Gordan is triple a Major with first class honors, and also went home with the Program Awards in Business Administration and Mathematics.

The Dominica Chess federation takes this opportunity to encourage other female members of our society to take on the sport of chess, as our women in Society continue make strides and succeed to the highest degree.

Presently 5 of our top players on Island will be heading to Chennai India to compete in the 44th Olympiad; opening new doors for the sport of chess and for our youth in the country, no matter their age or sex.
