We announce the death of 73 year old Seraphine Marie LaRocque better known as “ Ma-LaRocque” or “Sera” of Coulibistrie, who resided in Checkhall. She died on May 6th 2022 at her residence in Checkhall.
She will be remembered by:

Sons: Brian LaRocque in NYC, and Median LaRocque-Director of Dominica Bureau of Standards
Grandchildren: Breann and Bianca, and their mom Nicola LaRocque, Tahir and Sanai and their Mom Noni Trotter.

Brothers: Patrick Foye in Portsmouth and Loderick Foye in London
Sisters in law: Maria and Elaine Foye, Claudette, Glenda, Maureen and Paula LaRocque
Brothers in law: Kendal, Gustav, and Irwin LaRocque
Nieces: Annette, Alex, Hannah, Sharon, Cora, Dawn, Paula, Elizabeth, Cassandra, Fernella, and Fayola
Nephews: Washburn and Albert Cuffy, and Faywani, Louis, and Johnathan Foye

Many numerous relative and friends including: The Foye, Cuffy, Joseph, Carter, and Mendes families, LaRocque family in Dominica and USA, Laudat family of Coulibistrie and St. Joseph, Sango family of Bioche, Daniel and Sebastian families of Colihaut, Robinson, Richards, Shillingford, and Francis families in US and members of the Coulibistrie Catholic Church.
The body of the late Seraphine LaRocque will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 1:30 pm on Saturday 28th May at the Coulibistrie Catholic Church. The funeral service takes place at 2:00pm followed by interment at the Coulibistrie Catholic Cemetery.
