We announce the death of 83 year old reverend Hewlett Andrew who resided in Portsmouth, Dominica.

He died on: March 11, 2022

He Resided in England for over 50 years but spent his sunset hours in Portsmouth, Dominica where he passed away.

He was preceded in death by his parents (former dispenser) Unsworth Andrew, and Pearl Andrew, brothers Irwin Andrew and Patrick Lander and cousins Merle Williams and Londell Edwards.

Surviving Relatives and Friends:

He is survived by Daughter: Laura Andrew in the UK

Sister(s): Rev. Elizabeth Felix (Sis Geda) in Trinidad, Ginta Andrew in the UK, Celia and Josephine Andrew in Canada and Myrtle Prevost in Dominica

Brother: Dallas Andrew in Canada

Nieces: Pearl, Dr Jill Andrew and Adrienne Andrew in Canada, Bridgette Andrew in Germany, Amanda Burkhardt in Dominica and Simone Felix in Trinidad and their families

Nephews: Irwin Andrew in Martinique, Karl Andrew in Germany; Christopher Andrew in Canada, Dr Brandon Andrew and Ricardo Prevost in the USA and their families.

Other Relatives: Rena and Regan Williams, Glenda Fontaine, Anne in the UK.  Matti Rose, Gillian and Tunde Adebayo, Sandra Royer and family. Relative of the Edwards family, the Dorsette family, the James family, the Linton family, the Scotland family.

Friends and Colleagues:

Dr Aggrey Burke, Professor Gus John, Mrs Nugent, Elizabeth Ovey, Rev William Watty, Rev Dr George Mulrain, Rev Wesley Daniel, Brother Mandarka, Bernard Wiltshire, Brother Clarence Thomson, Bishop Wilfred Wood, Rev Ronald Nathan and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Interment at Zion Methodist Church Cemetery, Marigot, Dominica

Due to social distancing all guests are encouraged to wear face masks at the viewing, church, and cemetery.
