We announce the death of Avalon Roberts of River Sallee, St. Patrick Grenada who resided in Corona. He passed away on November 16, at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital at age 53.
He was the father of Keron in the US. Verandel and Hermina in Grenada,
GRANDSON: Keron Jr.in the U.S
BROTHERS: Roy Roberts, Pastor Randolph Roberts and Rudolph
Roberts in the U.S. Danwell and Julio in Grenada. Mullino in the UK.
SISTERS: Averlin Roberts in the U.S. Sherry in Tortola, Eulice in the U.K, Richa and Eulette in Grenada.
He was the nephew of the late Victor John who resided in Sultan, Bertrand John, Alstead Baptiste, Officer James Andrew of the R.G.P.F. and Marron Jeffery in Grenada, Albert and Eversley in the U.S.
AUNTS: Vera, Manola, and Leline in Grenada, Alicia in the U.S. and Violet in Trinidad.
SISTER-IN-LAWS: Yvonne and Carthleen Roberts in the U.S.
He will especially be remembered by his aunt Dr Idaline John, cousins Dr Shanon John and Marisol John in Dominica.
Many Nieces and Nephews too numerous to mention.
Special friends: Sonia Alexander, Teshana, Ishana and Brent of Silverlake, Ron aka Farmacy, Rickson ‘Lushy’ Gittens, Gerry Aird and family, Maizy Olive, Esther and Julia Belleau, and Tia Joseph.
Other close comrades from Shyan’s Bar, Charlo’s Bar, Sugars Bar and Elo’s Snackette, the communities of Silver Lake, Corona, Pond Casse, Sultan, Layou Park, and River Sallee, Grenada, and many other known associates too numerous to mention.
the funeral service of the late Avalon Roberts will take place on Wednesday 29th December, 2021at the lady of Fair Haven Cathedral Chapel at 3:00pm followed by burial at the Roseau Catholic Cemetery.
