Samantha Moon”s explanation of her journey working on the SHININ’ single
We had already shot the music video for “The Reason ” and so we showed it to our producer friend Shawn Diggy. After viewing it, he asked us to fly to California so we could work together on a song. We weren’t so sure at first because of the pandemic but for sure we were up for the adventure. So My business partner and I flew to California. We wrote and recorded the song with Diggy in three days together with mixing, mastering and also shooting the music video on the last day which Diggy shot.
Something I will never forget which was hilarious! is how I couldn’t ride the bike in the video. We were just laughing and I couldn’t help but feel a lil embarrassed but it still worked in the shot. We shot at Santa Monica pier and Malibu Beach!. Amanda and I worked on the clothing, hair and so on, It was such an experience. Sometimes you have to take risks in life. You never know where it can lead you, maybe to wonderful places. I think shinin is a hit. I
