Lenor John’s memory kept alive as family-operated foundation gives generous donations in her name to the Salisbury Primary School

According to one of the daughters of the late Lenor John, “In honor of the family matriarch, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren formed a foundation in an effort to raise funds to support education in her beloved Salisbury, Dominica.” The foundation is officially known as the Lenor John Foundation and is family operated. 

Upon receipt of the generous donation, Principal of the Salisbury Primary School conveyed his gratitude to the family and commended them for seeking to effect change in their community.  He expressed, “I am very elated to have received these items. They will go a long way in assisting us. The function went very well. Short and sweet.”

Additionally, Honorable Hector John, Parliamentary Representative for the Salisbury Constituency also made it a point of duty to express his appreciation. “I would like to express sincerest gratitude to the Lenor John Foundation for their donation to the Salisbury Primary School. This will go a long way towards ensuring that the staff and students have a great learning experience at the school. I would like to encourage other villagers living abroad to make similar contributions to any sector towards the continued growth of the Salisbury Community,” he stated.

The donation included a printer, scanner, calculator, clocks, shredder, school supplies, a 50-inch television and more. The Lenor John Foundation has conveyed their commitment to honoring the memory of their matriarch. Even more so, they would like to encourage others to give back to their communities as it aids in the overall development of the country by extension.
