It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our Matriarch Lucina Catherine Nicholas.
She passed away peacefully at her residence in River Estate, Canefield (Dominica) on October 7, 2021 at the age of 85.
Lucina was lovingly known as “Merm” by her faithful family and “Tanty” by her treasured friends.
Her love and legacy will live on through her seven children: Albert Simon, Thelma Paul, Yvette Bougouneau, Jennifer Lim, Shirley Williams-Labone, Beverly Williams and Ingrid JnoBaptiste.
Twenty- three (23) grandchildren: Macressa Simon, Al Simon, Alisa Simon, Allia Simon, Allana Bonnick, Driealice Atkins, Verina Tywana Kennedy, Carlmar Staber-Prevost, Terick Guye, Chad Bougouneau, Craig Bougouneau, Corrie Bougouneau, Gayleen Lim, Casey Lim, Shirnel Labone, Sherlon Labone, Bevlenn Struve, Leah Struve, Eliyah Struve, Casiann JnoBaptiste, Kai JnoBaptiste, Tyan JnoBaptiste, and Leshan JnoBaptiste.
Thirteen (13) great-grandchildren: Le’Vida Ludford, Ce’Mara Atlan, Leelah Bonnick, Amia Simon, Taijah Simon, Andre Atkins Jr., Jada Kennedy, Brooklyn Kennedy, Eden Prevost, Milania Prevost, Caid Bougouneau, Jairah Gregoire, and Kaiden JnoBaptiste.
Three (3) sisters Emillia Laville, Josette Matthew and Maria Cabey
Sons in law: Chris Bougouneau, and Alan Lim.
Grandsons in law: Ron Kennedy, Hakim Prevost, Andre Atkins
Granddaughter in law: Dailyne Bougouneau
And many relatives and friends too numerous to mention
Her warm presence and love will be deeply missed.
We will celebrate her life well lived on Thursday, October 14 at the Truth and Grace Fellowship Global. Viewing starts at 2:30PM, followed by the Memorial Service at 3PM.
