We announce the death of Mr. Dominique (Bolo) Sanderson, age 71 of Petite Soufriere Dominica, residing in New York, who passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
A carpenter, Dominique worked as a Superintendent at Kings Village Housing Complex. As a young man, he also served as a member of the Dominica Defense Force.
He was the Son of the late Florie and Edward Bolo Sanderson of Petite Soufriere.
Dominique is survived by:
Wife – Martha Drigo Sanderson
Children – Stephen, Dillon, Dana, Keisha, Anthea, Jean, Wayne and Keith.
Siblings – Lucia Sanderson, Olivia Stoute and Pius Sanderson all of Petite Soufriere
In-Laws – Doreen Sanderson, Christina, Cornelia, Joseph, Julia, Duke, Emmanuel, Anthony, and Sophie Drigo, Maggie and Martin Cornelius
Twelve Grandchildren including Stephen and Journey Sanderson, Devine, Adam and Christina Jerez, Gabrielle and Quan Florent.
Fourteen Nieces, ten nephews, and many other relatives and friends in New York, Houston, Petite Soufriere and St. Maarten.
Dominique Sanderson’s Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at Guarino Funeral Home, 9222 Flatlands Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, followed by interment at Pinelawn Cemetery, Long Island, NY.
