Death announcement of 88 year old Maurice Jean better known as Morya of Penville

It is with profound sadness we announce the death of 88 years old Maurice Jean better known as Morya of Penville. He died peacefully at his residence on 17th March 2021.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Jean.

Ten children: Nurse Helen Gilbert, Allana, Marina, Lincoln, Derick, Kenrick, Feyo, Julien, Dezy, and Keithroy.

27 grandchildren: Police Superintendent Michael SΓ©bastien of the Dominica police force, lennox, linny, linton, kerbian, kenroy, Kenny, Ryan, Jaydian, Jaydisha, Shanella, Keithroy jr, Vijay, Jayce, Kamasha, Kadeema, Delandra, Diane in Guyana, Dr. Wendy Greenaway in Tobago, Denick, Karishna, Derickson, Derina, Leandra, Nikisha, Delon and Alisha.

19 great grandchildren: Nathan, Carver, Terisa, Keldon, Kayel, Kayden, Zayn, Quamie, Jayquan, Vivica, Grace and Abby.

5 brothers: Conrade, Reynold, Romie, Lionel and Ervin.

1 sister: Theresa

Daughters in law: Sandra and Karen in St. Marteen, Marthine and Mary

Sons in law: Fabian and Elroy.

Sisters in law: Veronica, Eunelis, and Lorn

Brothers in law: Godfrey, Aubin and Venant

4 Grandchildren in law including: Hannah Pierre and Jeffery Lloyd

Uncle: Gwemen

Nieces and nephews including: Marley, Catherina, Clayber, Vorney, Francois, Berlyn, Steve, Laura, Claudette, Theodore, Leon and Norma. Others too numerous to mention.

Godchildren including: Jessica and Davis

Close relatives and friends including: Prime Minister Hon Roosevelt Skerrit, Liezar, Johnson Laville and family, Morella, Olive, Cassandra, Laurelle Thomas, Mano,Victoria, pastor Benjamin and family, The Romain and Daniel family in Cottage, the John family in Paix Bouche, the laville, Marcellin, Gilbert, Jean, Seaman, Paul, Etienne, and Bethelmie families of Penville, others too numerous to mention.

The funeral mass of the late Maurice Jean of Penville better known as Morya will be held on Friday 26th March at the Vielle case Roman Catholic church. The funeral mass will take place at 3:00pm followed by internment at the Vielle Case Catholic cemetery.
