Thirty three year old, Haitian national Jacky Volcy is the first winner of the Dominica National Lottery(DNL) Super Six Jackpot for 2021.
Volcy who has been living in Dominica for the past two years purchased his winning ticket at McMillan Gas Service Station in Castle Comfort.
According to Sales Representative at the DNL, Ken George, on the day of the draw the jackpot was $440,100. However in the winning ticket, Volcy had a match five and two match ball winners, bringing the total amount of his winning to 442,650.
George said further that the DNL has no boundaries as to who can play their games so he is encouraging all nationals living in Dominica to play.
Volcy said that while he is very happy, it is he and his friend who have won the jackpot and not just him.
