It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Florence Eugene Benjamin, also known as “Ma Elford” and “Ma Walkie” of Wesley. She died on Friday January 22, 2021 at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Dominica.
She leaves to mourn:
9 children: Nurse Allina Reefe, Stephenson Benjamin, Dr. Griffin Carty Benjamin, Stainford Benjamin in Antigua, Reverend William Alvin Benjamin in the USA, Neva Cuffy, Florence Benjamin in Antigua, Florestine Laroque in the United Kingdom, and Anthea Benjamin.
2 Step-Children: Edward Benjamin and Lynne Benjamin
Sons In-Law: Clifford Reefe, Washbourne Cuffy, Dudley Laroque and Charles William
Daughters In-Law: Dr. Liris Benjamin and Carlis Benjamin
She will be remembered by 16 grandchildren:
o Nicola and husband Yohan Babb, Kimarah, Lynthea Reefe in Trinidad and Tobago and Dr. Michael Reefe

She will also be remembered by Members of the Wesley Ebenezer Methodist Church, the Wesley Seventh-Day Adventist Church, the Wesley Women’s League, and the Staff of the Life of Lords Organization of New Jersey USA.
Funeral arrangements at Wesley, for the late Mrs. Florence Eugene Benjamin also known as “Ma Fordo” will be held today Thursday 11 February 2021 at the Ebenezer Methodist Church at Wesley.
