A low-level trough is expected to affect the island during the morning period resulting in cloudy spells with occasional scattered showers. However, by afternoon, a relatively dry atmosphere can be expected as a high pressure system will begin to establish itself across the area.
Slight to moderate seas are expected during the next 24 hours with waves peaking to 5.0ft. Meanwhile, northerly swells can be expected to affect the island during the weekend. Small craft operators and sea-bathers are advised to be vigilant.
