Musical Therapy Show to feature the Elderly on Sunday

The Dominica Council on Ageing Inc. continues to celebrate the Month of the Elderly under the Theme: “The Elderly: Surviving the Pandemic”.

Award winning Carlyn and Cornell Phillip are paying respect to the Elderly this Sunday September 13th via their virtual Musical Therapy show beginning at 5:00pm.

 Other Important dates include:

  • Virtual Panel discussion with Dr. Dorian Shillingford Chairman of the national health commission September 16th 2020 @5:00pm.

People can Tune in via radio, Youtube, DNO and Dominica Council on Ageing Inc. Facebook Page.

  • A Photographic Competition runs September 21st – 28th. Everyone is urged to participate. Take a Photo of a Senior Citizen doing an activity (weeding, chatting, going to church, gardening, using a tool etc.). Prizes to be won. The winner s will be announced and on September 30th Photos can be kindly emailed to the dcoainc@gmail.com or WhatsApp 1-767-613-8551.
  • A Virtual Gospel Concert on October 1st 2020 from 6PM. Will be available via radio, Youtube, DNO and Dominica Council on Ageing Inc Facebook Page.

The Council looks forward to the commitment in recognizing the resilience of our seniors.
