Vacancy Announcement
Dominica State College invites application from all qualified candidates having an interest in lecturing in the vacant full-time positions of Accounting, Electrical Engineering, Tourism and Hospitality, and Physics.
Accounting. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in the field of study (Certification in Accounting, ACCA, CGA or CPA would be a distinct advantage), and recent teaching experience at a high school or college level.
Electrical Engineering. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, at least two years’ experience in Electrical Engineering works, and experience in teaching would be an asset.
Tourism and Hospitality. Qualification include, preferably, a Master’s degree in the subject area, a first degree in Tourism and/or Hospitality Management. Experience in teaching the subject for at least two years, and a certificate in teacher training would be an asset.
Physics. Qualifications include preferably a Master’s degree in the subject area, and a first degree in the Physics. Experience in teaching the subject for at least two years and a certificate in teacher training would be an asset.
