It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Lennox John Corky Honoré of Woodford Hill, a Legendary Farmer who departed the earth at the age of 61.
He will be remembered as a Top Banana Farmer who farmed over 40 acres in Londonderry, Melville Hall and Woodford Hill throughout his lifetime.
He was the Husband of Fama Honoré originally from the Community of Paix Bouche.
His legacy of Hard Work, Farming and Persistence will live on through his children, Sherna, Lennison, Valarie, Shanice, Shaniah and Shayana.
He will be greatly missed by his biological and adopted Grandchildren including – Shadeen, Kellisha, Kasani, Dylan, Cheddi, J’lan and Amani.
He was the sixth of a 13-member family and will be deeply missed by his siblings:
Gilbert Lewis and Shirley Honoré residing in St. Thomas, Lockhart Lewis and Garnet Honoré residing in Miami, Hubert Honoré in Antigua, Vina Telemaque in Anguilla, Wilson “Dene Boy”, Ashley, Answorth Honoré and Bernicia Oscar in Dominica.
We honor the memory of his Parents and Siblings who preceded in Death: Veronica Isla Benjamin Honoré, Charles Honoré, Bernadette Gistine Honoré-Philbert, Bervilia Honoré-Breedy
He was commonly referred to as “Daddy Corky” and fathered many including Sherlon Honore, Murium “Baby Girl” Degallerie, Tina Noelien, Richardson “Papa Zo” Viville, Nicky “Pong Pan” George, Cassie Prosper, Sylvie Dominique, Solomon and Joshua Degallerie.
He was known as “Uncle Corky” to many including;
Candia Philbert, Nagesha Oscar, Shabree Tiffany Richards, Chrisel Telemaque, Alixa Lewis, Ruth Guerssaint, Kervel, Kerthea, Anel, Alana, Abigail, Jewel and Della Honoré.
Richardson Lewis, Dale Lewis, Kerdin Lewis, Chris Philbert, Abiel Telemaque, Ryan Oscar, Joshua Breedy, Wayne, Kerel, Kirby, Ian, Sherlon, Gem, and Zane Honoré
His in-law family includes:

The family of the late John Lennox Corky Honoré extends sincere thanks and appreciation to his Herbal Therapist Jason Robin, his Part-time Driver Luke St. John, Private Nurse Ulanda Thomas along with the Nurses and Doctors of the Dialysis Unit and Imray Ward at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital.
Our Nation has lost an exemplary Farmer, Leader and Entrepreneur. His soul rests in perfect peace.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday August 15th,2020, 1:00pm at the Woodford Hill Baptist Church followed by Interment and Repass on his Private Property in Woodford Hill.
