Cell Phone Policy In the Cards For Public Sector

Cabinet Secretary, Steve Ferrol is of the view that a cell phone policy will enhance customer service within the public sector.

Ferrol said, “We have for the past couple months been discussing a cell phone policy that we hope to bring forward but  we do take the point that cell phones are a distraction and we should do everything in our power to get them out of the workplace”.

Ferrol said further, “One of the issues that we have with stopping cellphones in the workplace is that in the absence of a proper data management system we rely on cellphones ourselves”.
