The Public Relations Officer of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police(CDPF), Simon Edwards, reported that the lifeless body of Damien Ernest of Back Street, Kingshill was discovered on the road leading to the Boeri Lake on Saturday.
According to him the body was found lying face down in a pool of blood with what appeared to be multiple gun shot wounds to the torso.
The body was transported to the Dominica China Friendship Hospital where it was examined and officially pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
