According to the Prime Minister, Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit, Dominica’s borders may reopen by July.
He said, “We’re looking at somewhere in July. I cannot tell you which date but I am hoping that I will be in a position in the next week or so to come back to you”.
The Prime Minister added that imported cases are expected to rise once Dominica’s borders reopen. However, the Ministry of Health will continue to put protocols in place to deal with the eventual reopening of the borders.
The Prime Minister made these comments last evening on his talk show, ‘Anou Parlay’.
