Dominican Students Studying At International Institutions To Return Home

A collaborative effort between various ministries and the Prime Minister’s office have made it possible for 2 flights operated by Silver Airlines to bring home students studying internationally. This is according to the Minister responsible for Education who made the announcement at the COVID-19 press briefing of the Ministry of Health on June 5 2020

The Minister said that the first group consisting of 100 students will arrive in Dominica on Tuesday 9, June.

The students will be required to follow all established protocols including the wearing of masks. When they arrive in Dominica, they will be transported to a quarantine facility where they will spend the next 14 days. There they will be tested for the presence of the disease.

Other groups of students will be facilitated from June 24 in order to allow for sufficient time for the first group to go through quarantine and for the buildings to be prepared.
