Health Minister, Hon. Irving McIntyre announced that as of Monday 25, May, there will be new curfew hours in the commonwealth of Dominica.
Dominicans will now enjoy an extra hour on the week day, while the total lockdown on Sundays have been removed.
Curfew hours are now from 8 pm to 5 am on Mondays to Fridays and 6 pm to 5 am on the weekends.
Businesses are now allowed to operate until 6 pm on Mondays to Fridays and until 3 pm on Saturdays.
The minister said that there are still on going discussions regarding protocols and guidelines for the reopening of churches, gyms and dine-in restaurants.
Also, buses are now allowed to have 3 persons per row.
The announcement came on the backdrop that it has been 46 days since the last reported confirmed COVID-19 case meaning that the country has gone through three COVID-19 incubation cycles.
