President of the Dominica Association of Evangelical Churches, Randy Rodney says that the association is in talks with various partners to establish a COVID-19 counselling hotline. The hotline will provide counselling for persons who are experiencing fear, worry or any emotional stress as a result of COVID-19.
Pastor Rodney encourages the general public to help each other in whatever way possible as we seek to overcome this pandemic. He says that many persons are afraid and in need of emotional help.
He offered some words of comfort saying that in the midst of this crisis, when not even medical practitioners can offer any certainty, God is able to fortify us against evil and God is also able to furnish us for every good work which includes protecting ourselves and helping others.
Pastor Rodney made these comments while addressing the press briefing of the Ministry of Health on Friday.
