DAIC President Says Businesses Are Looking For Flexible Solutions

President of the Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce, Kenneth Green says that DAIC members have been inquiring about flexible solutions to keep serving customers. He says that while this is a challenging time for all, we must continue to adhere to the measures put forward by the Ministry of Health in order for us to overcome this disease in the quickest time possible. He says that he fully endorses Government’s health first approach because the sooner we achieve our health goals, the better it is for the economy.

Green outlined some of the measure that businesses have put in place to cope with the restrictions imposed by COVID-19. He said that all supermarkets have established protocols including the use of online services to facilitate patrons.

The DAIC in collaboration with the Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association (DHTA) is in the second phase of survey which once completed will help  guide Government’s policy decisions as it relates to that sector of the economy.
