The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force(CDPF) is conducting investigations into a double stabbing incident which took place at Grandfond on Sunday 12, April at about 3:15 pm.
It is alleged that a St.Lucian national, Casy Joseph stabbed his 23 year old girlfriend, Tricia Valentine and her 17 year old sister, Jolisa Dublin, who tried to intervene. Joseph fled the scene after the incident and is presently on the run.
The victims were taken to the Laplaine Health Centre and then transferred to Roseau.
Emonews spoke to a family member of the sisters who said that they are stable. We pray for a speedy recovery for the sisters.
The CDPF is seeking the help of the general public in locating Casy Joseph who is still at large. Anyone with information is asked to contact his nearest police station.
