Minister for Sports, Hon. Roselyn Paul addressed the Annual General Assembly of the Central American and Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CONCENCABA) on March 8.
She commended the efforts of the organizations involved including the Dominica Amateur Basketball Association (DABA) for all they have done toward the development of Sports. She said further, “We cannot overemphasize the value of Sports to the development of the region. We speak in terms of individual development, in terms of health and wellness and fitness, we speak as well of the development of young people”.
CONCENCABA consists of members of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) in Central America and the Caribbean.
