Schools Take Part In Annual Hike

The St. Mary’s Academy, St.Mary’s Primary and the Convent High School continue to engage in activities that develop students both physically and mentally. One such activity is the Hike which is done on the last Saturday of February, annually.

According to principal of the St.Mary’s Academy, Brother James Depiro, “The purpose of the hike is so that our students, our members would be aware of their environment and to know the Nature Isle…better”.

This year the students hiked from Pond casse to the Emerald pool in the Eastern part of the island. The hikes are well attended with enthusiasm from staff and students alike.
