Portsmouth Secondary School takes Away NECS Hopes

The Portsmouth Secondary School (PSS) defeated the North East Comprehensive (NECS) to be crowned Under 17 Football Champions 2020, Wednesday 15th January at the Benjamin’s Park in Portsmouth.

The NECS who were playing in their first ever final had hopes of walking away victorious. However, PSS proved to be the better team scoring in the first half and then again in the 54th and 77th minute of play, ending the game 3- nil.

Tyriq Joseph-1(77′)Tyriq also took the MVP award while Edgar Alexander of NECS received the Geirge Carrington Award for Best Defender.
