Nursing Association To Tackle Nursing Attrition and Migration

President of the newly elected Nursing Association, Mignon Shillingford Rolle, says that while nursing attrition and migration is a Caribbean issue, her association is concerned over this issue in Dominica and will be tackling it head on.

She recalls that 29 nurses graduated with her from the college in 1999, and five years later, 8 of them had migrated.

Rolle says that she is actively pursuing reasons as to why nurses are leaving and will formulate a way forward based on the responses received.
