25 year old, Primrose David from the community of Massacre and one of the contestants in the Miss Dominica Carnival Queen Pageant 2020, was officially launched on Sunday 5, December.
David who is sponsored by PRECONCO LTD promises to do her best to capture the crown. She says that she is no stranger to her community having served in the capacity of Youth Group member, Head Altar Server and assistant coach of DTreads Blazers.
She won Miss Wob Dwiyet in 2016 .
David’s platform is ‘Culture as a pathway to community development’ and she believes that economic gains may be garnered from cultural activities. Primrose made her grand entrance on a horse.
David says that big things comes in small packages and small axes cut down big trees, thus she is more than capable of bringing home the crown.
