Moving the regional Human Resource Development 2030 Strategy from Vision to Action is the major focus of a meeting of Caribbean Community Ministers of Education and Education Officials which began in Guyana, Wednesday.
The Strategy, endorsed by CARICOM Heads of Government in 2017, is expected to help craft a globally competitive system to deliver education and training and produce citizens at all levels who are equipped to function effectively in a 21st Century Economy and Society.
The two-day gathering – the 38th Meeting of CARICOM’s Council for Human and Social Development (COHSOD) – Education, is due to examine conditions that will govern successful implementation of the Strategy; re-conceptualising schooling and learning; the future of work, and partnerships and aligning global agenda.
