NICOSIA, Cyprus – Cyprus has officially joined the long list of countries engaged in what was previously viewed unimaginable under the citizenship by investment programme (CBI). Collectively, Housing Dominica and Cyprus housing policy is changing the lives of citizens, building wealth and contributing to economic growth.
Prime Minister of Dominica Roosevelt Skerrit frequently reminds citizens that “Dominica’s housing revolution is good public policy. It is funded entirely by the CBI programme introduced in 1993 and earlier this month destined to become “the world’s first climate-resilient nation, the World Bank offered Dominica $27 million for geo-energy.”
Many regional countries have implemented CBI programmes, the British overseas territory of Anguilla is planning to implement a similar program.
According to Dubai-based lawyer added: “CBI is a noble concept and many countries have followed St Kitts and Nevis’ footsteps, such as Dominica and St Lucia and Malta, Cyprus and Bulgaria. Sometimes it can be so successful, but like any other concept, it needs to be managed properly.
