Next Move Revealed for DPSU

Public officers waited with anticipation for the general secretary of the Public Service Union, Mr. Thomas Letang to reveal the next move of the Union. Members erupted with cheers and applause when he stated that a ‘go slow’ will be in effect from tomorrow, Friday 31, May 2019, until Monday 3, June.

“Every Friday, we will continue to wear our yellow and orange T-shirts. We’re not going to stop. Starting tomorrow we are all going to embark on a ‘go slow’. We’re going to reduce our work input by about 60%”, said Letang. The union is giving Government until June 11 to meet demands and call the union to the negotiating table.

Letang continued, “After the 11th, we will call you again and when we call you, brothers and sisters, it is not any ‘go slow’. We are going to do something bigger, better, higher, more serious than ‘go slow’. We are going to take enhanced industrial action”.

The union has been trying to negotiate with Government for some time now and instead of Government agreeing to negotiations, attacks are being made on members of the executive. The union will reconvene on Thursday next week to review the situation.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
