The Dominica Festivals Committee recently announced the winners of the Advertising Floats who participated in the National Parade and Official Opening of Carnival on January 19, 2019.
The winners are The Dominica Red Cross Society for their depiction of disaster response services and vector borne diseases; D Treads Inc in 2nd place with a representation of tyres and accesssorie; and in third place Starrin & Sons with their product display. The Advertising Float category was judged by a panel of 5 judges and there were nine entries in this category. The Dominica Festivals Committee commends all business partners who took part in the National Parade
The Dominica Festivals Committee also welcomed an additional sponsor of Mas Domnik 2019. Josephine Gabriel & Company Ltd has come on board with the Trois Pitons Water as the official water of Mas Domnik 2019. The company has partnered with several other Carnival event organizers to include the Dominica Calypso Association, Junior Monarch Competition, Rotary Souse & Punch, Klubird T-shirt Band, Signal Band, Amnesia Costume Band, Stardom Calypso Tent, Hysteria Costume Band and Valentine’s Night Reggae on the Boardwalk.
