On Monday 11th February 2019, the Government of Dominica signed an agreement with Vital Developers Ltd for the construction of a 5 Star Villa Unit Eco Resort at Providence, entering into Laudat. The signing ceremony took place at the Ministry of Finance Conference Room.
The development of the resort, named Sanctuary Rainforest Eco Resort and Spa, will be funded under the Real Estate Option of the Citizenship by Investment Program. The Developer/Promoter is Mr. Alexander Berenstain. The resort will be constructed over a period of 36 months from the date of signing and will comprise duplex units with a total of 72 rooms comprising the following:
- A restaurant and bar
- Yoga and meditation center
- A health spa
- Two swimming pools
- Reception building, lobby, and boutique
- Laundry building
- Maintenance site
- Parking facilities
This resort will be first of its kind to enhance and compliment the tourism product in the Roseau Valley.
