Candidate for the Roseau Valley Constituency, Ronald Charles was officially sworn in as a United Workers Party Senator in the House of Parliament on January 21st, 2019. Ronald Charles is replacing former Senator Dr. Thomson Fontaine, who was removed from the position after missing three sittings of Parliament. Senator Charles, thanked the leader of the opposition for the opportunity.
