Dominican artist and lead singer of prominent Bouyon Band, Shelly, follows up from the group’s 2018 hit single “Ani Ba Yo Love.”
On Tuesday, January 8, the artist Sheldon “Shelly” Alfred released LOCAL, which his fans were certainly in high anticipation for following his provocative social media posts surrounding the topic of supporting local.
Shelly says that the song, written by himself, and produced by Cecil “Tha Wizzard” Joseph is certainly a social commentary Bouyon, but it is also a true reflection of the way he feels. Shelly and Signal Band hopes to not only produce dance music, but to stamp a level of advocacy and voice in the Bouyon genre – as the most popular genre on island.
