The Paix Bouche community was once again blessed by an annual Christmas party organized by Kathleen and Roger Buchholz. To commemorate this occasion, the Paix Bouche Primary School received a refurbished library, 5 desktop computers, and 6 laptops.
According to Kathleen, “Children, it is my wish that you make good use of these books. I urge all of you to continue reading, studying hard and performing well. I want all of you to discover the pleasure in reading because it is a gift that will stay with you throughout your lives. If you work hard and commit yourselves to life-long learning through reading, new opportunities will emerge and your dreams will come true.”
In attendance was the Parliamentary Representative for the constituency, Honourable Roselyn Paul, who thanked Mr. and Mrs. Buchhols for their continued contributions to the Paix Bouche community. The Principal, Mrs. Joannie Honore, was also in attendance and expressed her gratitude on behalf of the school and the Ministry of Education.
During the day, the kids were entertained. Every child received a bag filled with toys and 200 received bag packs with school supplies. The day was deemed a success by the event coordinator, Ms.Heather Vidal.
