The Cultural Division, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and OECS Pearl Dominica continues its commitment to arts education and cultural development through its ongoing Visual and Performing Arts Workshop for Teachers.
The first session, held on Friday, introduced teachers to both Creative and Traditional Dance techniques, providing participants with practical skills and approaches for integrating movement and cultural expression into the classroom environment.
Workshop sessions continue today with a focus on Visual Arts and Craft, where teachers will engage in creative exploration, artistic techniques, and hands-on activities designed to enhance arts instruction within schools across Dominica.
This initiative forms part of the Cultural Division’s continued efforts to strengthen arts education, preserve cultural traditions, and equip educators with creative tools to inspire the nation’s youth.
