It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Hazel Vidal of Salisbury.
He passed away on Wednesday, 11th March 2026 at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital (DCFH).
Mr. Vidal served as the Sacristan at the St. Theresa Catholic Church and was a devoted member of his parish community.
He was predeceased by his parents, Hayden and Fredricka Vidal, and his sister, Hilthia Vidal Julien.

Elveau; the St. Theresa Church Choir; the St. Anne Church Choir; the St. Theresa Church Parish; staff of the Imary Ward; Dr. Jeffery; the St. Joseph and Salisbury Health Teams; and the communities of Salisbury, Coulibistrie, Mero, and St. Joseph.
He is further survived by the Louis, Vidal, John, and Jno Charles families of Salisbury, St. Joseph, and Mero, as well as many other relatives, friends, and acquaintances too numerous to mention.
Funeral Arrangements:
The body will be transported from Gentle Rest Funeral Home for viewing at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, 27th March 2026 at the St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church in Salisbury.
The funeral Mass begins at 3:00 p.m., followed by interment at the St. Theresa Roman Catholic Cemetery.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
