We announce the death of death of Magdeline Virgin James Harris also known as “Ma James” or “Mado”, age 98 of Kingshill. She died on August 5th, 2025, at the DCFH.
She leaves to mourn five children: Lorna and McDonald in the US, and Annette, James, and Eddie in Dominica.
Twenty-four grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Close family and friends including Sylma Laurent and family, Nurse Martine Roberts, nurses, doctors, and ward aids of the Glover Ward, Miss Lucern David, Miss Chambers, Joseph Julien, the communities of Virgin Lane, Newtown and Kingshill and many more too numerous to mention.
The funeral of late Magdeline Virgin James Harris will take place on September 2nd, 2025, at “Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church”. Viewing will begin at 2:30pm, followed by mass at 3pm. Interment will take place at the Roseau Roman Catholic Cemetery.
