Death Announcement of ones Sylvester Alcendor Aka Sylves of Grand Bay

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jones Sylvester Alcendor Aka Sylves of Grand Bay.  He died on 1st July 2025 at Agape Care in Massacre.  He left to mourn his wife Lucia Alcendor in Guadelope 

Daughters Elvina Alcendor-Charles Johanna Alcendor in Guadelope .

Three adopted children,  Randy Casimir, Juliette Francis, and Denessa Cooke. 

3 Grand children, Josia and Estelle Henry and Yoan Julien. 

3 Great grand

Sisters Grania Austrie in St. Thomas, Sandra Austrie in New Jersey, Martha, and Ignatius Alcendor in Guadelope. 

Brothers Henry Leatham in Florida, Arthur Austrie in St. Thomas, Saint Louis Leatham in New York, Joseph Alcendor in St Thomas, Joseph Philip Alcendor in Dominica 

Uncle Peter Leatham in England. 

Aunts Morina Leatham in Guadelope, Audrina Leatham in England and Bernardette Pacquette in Grand Bay 

17 nieces, including Valena and Sabbian 

13 nephews 

12 Grand nieces 

12 nephews 

7 adopted Grand children 

Numerous cousins, including Jack and Susie and Marie-Ann 

Caretakers Denessa Cooke, Joseph Henry, and Alison Pacquette Close family James Henderson and family, Marie Joseph and family, Theophile Acendore and family 

Close friend Rachel in New Jersey, Frogy in Grand Bay, and two others in England. 

Other family and friends ,The Alcendor, Leatham, Charles, Austrie, Henry, Merrifield, Francis, Casimir, Julien, Henderson, Theophile families of Grand Bay. The Grand Bay health team, members of the Grand Bay fire and ambulance service, Bus drivers,  Kojee, Longer and Desmond, and the Felicite neighborhood. 

Many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. 

The body of the late Jones Sylvester Alcendor Aka Sylves of Grand Bay will be transported from the North Eastern Funeral Home on Friday 18th July 2025 to the Grand Bay catholic church. Viewing at 2.30pm, Funeral service at 3pm and internment at the Grand Bay catholic cemetery.
