A dream has become a reality for Dr. Dale Dangleben, a medical doctor from the USA with deep roots in Dominica. On Saturday, June 14th, the grand opening of Patient Choice Medical Store and Supplies was celebrated in the community of Pointe Michel.
The event was graced by the Minister of Health, the Honorable Cassanni Laville, and the Parliamentary Representative for Pointe Michel, the Honorable Denise Charles, along with family, friends, and members of the community. Both ministers welcomed the new initiative and extended heartfelt congratulations to the owners.
Dr. Dangleben, beaming with joy, shared his journey and passion for giving back to his homeland. He emphasized that the venture is centered on love for community and country.
The official ribbon cutting was carried out by Dr. Dangleben’s wife, Kate, and another director of the business. A special moment during the ceremony was the unveiling of a plaque in memory of Felix Joseph (deceased), grand uncle of Dr. Dangleben, honoring his legacy.
Patient Choice Medical Store and Supplies will initially provide a wide range of medical supplies, with plans to expand into direct patient care in the near future.
The day concluded with music, food, and celebration.
